BOY WITH CHICKEN
This piece was inspired by the 19th century sculpture by Italian master Adriano Cesioni, titled 'Enfant auCoq' (Child with Cockerel). This reinterpretation expresses the struggle and desperation of trying to hold onto something wanted, craved or selfishly loved, and the opposing anguish, fear and discomfort of escaping this imposed oppression. But, there is also a comedy pantomime element
